Have you ever read the calorie count on a food label and thought “that’s not so bad only 70 calories”?   But you don’t look at the number of servings which may be four, so if you eat the whole thing, wow 280 calories!!!  A new study suggests it may be best if the calories in the whole package are also listed.  Sounds like a good idea to me?  This would clear up a lot of confusion and give consumers who choose to eat the whole package the real truth about the calories they are actually consuming.  The same would apply to milligrams of sodium and grams of sugar.
