Dissecting nutrition research is bad enough to sort through, but when the reported results or conclusions are biased, it makes it even more difficult.  These organizations sound well-intended, but in reality may be very protective of their funding sources.  Their influence on the consumers’ ability to receive balanced views on nutrition information is often questionable.  Awareness is key to knowing both sides of an issue and making up your own mind about the food we eat.
