Here is an interesting article on the history of breakfast – it wasn’t always considered the most important meal of the day.  Thanks to the efforts of Dr. John Harvey Kellogg, it was raised to importance, but research supporting its weight loss benefits are mixed.  There are some good alternatives to bacon and eggs, however, that can be good choices and healthy too.
