1 cup of orange juice (no pulp)  has 26 grams of carbohydrate with 22 grams as sugar. That equals 5 1/2 teaspoons of sugar.  This seems small but they can add up quickly.  The American Heart Association recommends only 9 teaspoons per day for men and only 6 teaspoons a day for women.
