Shrimp are very popular on U.S. menus. But there is concern about how it is produced, mainly in Southeast Asia and some concerns about bycatch in wild-caught shrimp. I buy them frozen after asking about how long they keep the thawed shrimp in the case and was told anywhere from 2 -5 days.
