Nutrition-FactsFYI: It’s important to clear up an important point about sugar.  The recommendations of no more than 10% of calories from sugar in the 2015 Dietary Guidelines refers to added sugars, not the sugar found in other carbohydrate foods like bread, milk, vegetables, etc. The article only mentions the 2010 Dietary Guidelines. It is  proposed that the revised Nutrition Facts Panel in the future will provide the grams of added sugars.
